Conveniently located in Mill Park, our purpose-built early learning centre offers long day care and integrated kindergarten programs for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, we provide a warm, nurturing environment with engaging indoor learning spaces and a recently renovated outdoor area designed to inspire play, exploration, creativity and a love of nature.

Our service includes nutritious meals prepared on site by a qualified chef. We base our menu on seasonal produce and house favourites such as vegetable soup and casserole in winter and fresh salads in summer. Our menu caters for allergies and cultural and religious beliefs.

Yes, Mill Park Heights is a Victorian Government-approved kindergarten provider. Eligible children can access government-funded kinder hours through our integrated kindergarten program. Note that the integrated program requires a minimum attendance of 15 hours per week (at least 2 days) for subsidy eligibility.
Families may be eligible for the Australian Government's Child Care Subsidy (CCS), which reduces out-of-pocket fees based on income and hours of approved activity. Our integrated kindergarten program also attracts Victorian Government funding for eligible children. Contact us to discuss what your family may be entitled to.
Our centre is located close to Mill Park Primary School and we actively support children's transition to school through our school readiness curriculum and transition activities. Educators work with families to ensure children are socially, emotionally, and academically prepared for their first year of school.
We are open Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 6:00pm, making us a convenient option for working families across Mill Park, South Morang, and the surrounding areas. We are closed on weekends and public holidays.
Yes, nutritious meals are freshly prepared on-site each day. Our menu includes a variety of wholesome dishes such as pasta, shepherd's pie, curries, and soups, giving children a warm, nourishing meal without the need to pack a lunchbox.
Yes, we are a registered NDIS provider. Our inclusive approach ensures children with additional needs are supported through individually tailored learning plans, with close collaboration between educators, families, and allied health professionals.
Following a recent $254,000 upgrade, our outdoor space is a thriving educational hub. It features a sandpit, cubby house, outdoor chalkboard, miniature road for bikes and trikes, water play, age-appropriate climbing equipment, a yarning circle, and a veggie patch, all designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection to the natural world.
We use Storypark to share real-time learning observations, photos, and developmental milestones with families. Our educators also make themselves available for daily conversations at drop-off and pick-up, so you are always in the loop about your child's progress.
Mill Park Heights is operated by Y Whittlesea, a not-for-profit organisation and part of the YMCA, the world's oldest and largest youth organisation. The YMCA operates across more than 120 countries, guided by a mission to build healthy, strong, and connected communities. As a not-for-profit, every dollar generated through our programs is reinvested into the services we provide for families across Whittlesea. Y Whittlesea has been part of the local community for over 30 years and operates disability programs, youth programs, recreation and independent schools alongside our early learning centres.

Our Kindergarten is an approved provider of a Victorian Government funded kindergarten program. It means we deliver a play-based learning program led by a qualified early childhood teacher.
